Practical Completion has recently been achieved on a project to improve the accessibility of the Outside Broadcast Base, project managed by J4’s Thomas Bean and Abi Scott.

Improvements included a new entrance lobby with a new staircase and passenger lift, reconfiguration and refurbishment of internal spaces, door widening and other improvements to pedestrian access routes.

Careful planning and communications with building users, allowed the core functions of this building to successfully remain operational throughout the works.
