J4 Projects shares the following statement of progress from Encon

Encon Construction are very pleased to announce our recent commencement of construction on site at BBC Roath Lock Studios OB Shelter, Cardiff Bay.  The project is a partnership between Encon Construction our client BBC Workplace and the project team J4Project, AECOM, Robinson Low Francis and AWW Architects, and comprises of a 360 sqm detached building constructed from a steel portal frame on piled foundations, to house the large Outside Broadcasting Vehicles. 

In detail the project comprises the creation of a 360sqm enclosed vehicular shelter and workshop and includes:

– Single Storey Steel Frame with Mezzanine Level

– Metal profiled cladding to walls and roof

– Mechanical and Electrical Installations
